Okie96 Posted September 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2014 I've got a M1917 helmet in pretty good shape but some time ago it developed a mold issue on the leather. A couple of light treatments with Lysol and a q-tip have failed to solve the problem. Does any one know have to get rid of the mold once and for all? ken88 Posted September 7, 2014 Share #2 Posted September 7, 2014 You could try cleaning it with body lotion. If that doesn't work mix vinegar with water and clean it with that. It should come off.
