Some new AAF finds

Recommended Posts

Here are some of my recent finds. First up is a nice cased bronze star with the original shipping box. It is named to Lt. Col. Carl Frisby. With a little searching I found his photo on findagrave.com along with an obituary.

"Carl Frisby was born to Jonathan and Bessie Frisby on Jan. 31, 1912 at Basin, Wyoming. He entered the Army at age 16 and retired from the Army in 1950. He served in Australia, New Guinea, the Phillipines, and in Japan. He received the Bronze Star for meritorious service in Manila and the Asiatic-Pacific Army Commendation Ribbon for his work in communications in Japan."
