1945 Jungle Bladder Water Carrier Questions

I have never seen one of these water bags, are they made for the USMC or are they experimental? Any info would be of help and thanks...

Mandy, Thanks, here is a picture the bladder removed from the bag, neither the bag nor the bladder are marked USMC. So I assume other branches of service used them? Are they common as I have never seen another?

Hi, I think that it's WWII. USMC water bladder carrier and it's interesting because it's not stamped. I have one in my collection too. Tom

Only the Marine ones had the shoulder strap so this isn't an Army one. I have one too. I wouldn't say they're common, but they don't seem to be very rare either.

I have one dated 1944,all the ones I see on the net are dated 45. Are the early ones tougher to find?
