He would have been a Private First Class, but with a higher pay grade indicated by the mulltiple rockers As shown, he would have been in the Air Corps. Posted August 31, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 31, 2014 Just to add to Gil's information, the unofficial system of rockers started with one for specialist 6th class and went up to six for specialist 1st class.
