Manchu Warrior Posted August 27, 2014 #1 Posted August 27, 2014 I was at a friends house out in Western PA this past weekend and he had this beauty sitting on a shelf. It is not a spoils of war but technically it is a vet bring back. His brother was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. while there he had dated a young lady and her father took a liking to him and when it was time to go back to the states the dad gave him this helmet. I know little bout SS helmets but everything tells me that this is legit. It is actually a light gray color and other than missing the liner it really is in great shape. I informed him that it may be worth quite a bit and I am not sure how much. I really don't like asking but I would like to let him know the true value. If this gets closed I will understand and I will apologize now for starting the thread. Thanks!
