Spanish-American War Sword/Machete By Chaplain

Here is a Sword/Machete used by Spanish Soldiers in Cuba during the Spanish-American War.

It was brought back by Chaplain Edmund Easterbook. He was with the NY Vols at Pinar Del Rio, Cuba, 1898.

 

Chaplain Easterbrook went on to become the second Chief of Chaplains for the Army in 1928.
