These are vintage, and we recognize the design, this design with the army patches dates from at least 1973, on Christmas Eve 1973 I got along with my Evans E. Kerrigan (who passed two years ago I see) book on Military Insignia, a spiral note book to draw in that had this very design as it's cover, also see it as a kiddie bed sheet set too, a vendor at one of the Union New Jersey shows I seen used this a table cover :).

Just found this, a Quilted Jacket, a Kids one we should think, made with the same material of army Patches, of 70s vintage, cool right.

The RED Pentagon of the 5th RCT as a sign, photo will be sometime in 1951 as the one GI on the right is wearing a 24th Inf Div patch, the 5th RCT assigned to the 24th Inf Div to replace the destroyed 34th Inf Regt, 5th RCT reverts back to separate status after 1951 when the 24th Inf Div leaves Korea for Japan January 1952, and the 5th RCT remains there.

Here's an interesting one. Sign outside the headquarters of the Eighth Army during occupation duty in Japan immediately after VE-Day. Notice that where a sign sign would typically display the unit's SSI, they have created a decidedly non-SSI emblem.

The 1st Marine Division famous GUADALCANAL Patch on the Bass Drum of the Division's Band, a 1960 photo at Camp Pendleton California. Bob Hope there of course doing what he loves to do best with the guys, Yuk it Up. As mentioned, despite the Marine Corps abolishing their unit shoulder patches in 1947, they still used them in many instances, in many ways, and up to the present day.

Boat operated by the 278th Military Police Company of the Berlin Brigade, I'm guessing taken sometime between the mid-70's to mid-80's.

Here's a current Marine Corps band unit bass drum, the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, utilizing the basic design of the WWII shoulder patch for the II Marine Aircraft Wing (II MAW)
