pchepurko Posted August 9, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 9, 2014 I am trying to work a trade for a WWII leather flight helmet and goggle, but before I do I need to know the value of an average condition WWII leather flight helmet and goggles. Any help is appreciated.
38Driver Posted August 9, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 9, 2014 Depends on what type of goggles and helmet. Not enough info to give you an answer yet.

Bluespicker Posted August 9, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 9, 2014 Have any photos? See if you can some close-ups of the communications, label and the goggles.
Sabrejet Posted August 9, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 9, 2014 It's a bit like asking "How long is a piece of string?" Without details of the type of helmet in question, USAAF or USN, its overall condition, whether it's complete with its receivers and loom etc., it's impossible to give a ball-park figure. Likewise the goggles, whether or not they're B7s or B8s or whatever can affect the price hugely. The former, depending on condition, would fetch a three-figure sum. A good, complete helmet with equally good goggles would usually set you back a few hundred dollars...unless you found an absolute bargain!
