Nkomo, That's definitely a keeper. I especially like the theater made 10th Mtn Div (LI) combat patch.

The Mitchell Special Forces DCU I bought for $2 with entirely theater made insignia. Good question, O.

nkomo,

Are the two M's in the Pathfinder Badge deliberately there for Mitchell? If so, pretty cool personal touch that would only be available from the sew shops.

Wade,

I have no idea. I had noticed the Ms before, but never really thought much about it.

As I was looking at the 10th MTN Div patch on my DCU as opposed to a standard 10th MTN Div patch in desert, I noticed that my 10th patch has two prongs added to each bayonet.

Here is most of my DCU/ DBDU collection. Up first is an ODS 6-color uniform top with an embroidered boonie that has his name and ran (Spc.) written inside along with "KooLe-Rock." The tapes are theatre made and the 2nd Support Bde. and 78th Id are standard issued. If anyone knows what "KooLe-Rock" is or means please let me know!

This DBDU is from a soldier in the 35th Signal Bde. Unfortunately the uniform is missing a good portion of its insignia, and the theatre made tape has an ink stain.

Starting off with the DCU's is a 3rd ID uniform with direct embroidery above where the name tape used to be (need to translate the Arabic). The 3rd ID patch is theatre made while the rest of the sewn on insignia is just standard issue.

My last Air Force M-65 DCU has a pair of tapes that are made from the same material as the one in the previous post, with the only difference being the embroidery design.

My last DCU I have to show is is my Federal Air Marshal Service uniform with a pair of theatre made tapes that have both the English names and Arabic translations all in one patch! On the collar there are remnants of insignia which are probably from prior use.
