picked this up today im almost sure its a good one from where it came from hard to find one , wanted to post for review. Thanks for any help i can get.

I'm not an expert on these but if it is authentic then you have a nice score there.Is there any provenance with it?

Thanks for the help on the patch, it was worn buy a Squire Williams thats all i know about it.

I have the A2 jacket it came off of also. But don't think it was his original jacket he wore. Ill post pictures of it later when i have a chance.

I'm sorry to say but there was no Squire Williams after reviewing the crew lists for each plane. however it was probably from someone else in the 34th Thunderbirds bomb squadron who mainly volunteered for the mission.

There was a LT Col Charles H Williams that assumed command of the 9th FS in Mar, 1950. Could be your man. I wouldn’t give up on researching his affiliation with the 34 BS just yet.
