ReconFinn Posted August 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2014 We stopped by at Militaria Hobby Day in Parola Finland. The event was held on the Armour Museum. I had no idea that these reenactors were there since it was not mentioned in the add I saw on the newspaper. Anyways I got few pictures from the "camp" and thought that I will post them here. Pictures are from 2nd of August, 2014. Here we go.

ReconFinn Posted August 6, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted August 6, 2014 Nice setup! I take it they are restoring the Sherman? I think so yes. I am not sure if these guys are from the same reenactors group called Michael Gaissmair that the others were from (SS-Gebirgsjäger Regt. 12). In addition to the U.S. Military display the guys were displaying quite a lot of German deco weapons, helmets, uniforms and other gear. Mixture of reproduction and real deal items. The Meatcan Posted June 25, 2016 Share #7 Posted June 25, 2016 JeeperFIN, thanks for that link. I'd love to return to Parola some year; one of the most awesome places I've ever been! Tak, Terry
