Got it and put it right on the mannequin. Going to try to fix it up and then I post another pic.

Ahhh this is nice! Reminds me of one that I saw in American Pickers! Did you get the matching boots?? Nice acquisition!

No boots but maybe I can find the ones to match someday

Go on eBay they get these high altitude sheep lined flying boots your looking for  once in a while. Type A-6 or Type A-6-A

We all have to remember collecting AAF flying outfits and gear are going on 80 years now. The condition you find them in is pot luck. The fact that they have survived that many years shows how well they were made.
