I use a variety of empty, lightweight objects to fill the various Packs on display, such as empty welding wire boxes for the Marine Corps Packs, and various boxes, cartons and tubes for other types of stuff.

 

Here is what I use for Rucksacks: a trash bag and 3 smaller Ziploc bags, all filled with Styrofoam chips...

This is an exhibit my buddy Kevin Kronlund and I put together for the 2005 MVPA Convention. Kevin provided the vehicles, and I filled in the gaps between.

My goal with the mannequins was to show the progress of 10th Light Division uniform adaptations before deployment overseas.

Jagjetta, beautiful diorama! Love the vehicles, but unfortunately only limited display space. Fortunately, I've been blessed with most of the "gaps" material. Really like the way you both have laid out the overall display. Jack
