Guys I picked this up a while ago and want to confirm that its world war II, I don't collect bed rolls and I know its not the standard officer's roll so perhaps a private purchase piece? Anyway here is a link on the "What it's Worth" thread which received no responses, I am probably going to sell it as it is taking up too much valuable room in my man cave.

So, to be clear, is this a WWII piece?

Thanks in advance

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

It looks like WWII issue. If you're selling this I'm definitely interested.

Phipps was the 424/1BN C.O. prior to the 106th division's movement overseas. He was replaced by Lt. Col. Lamar Welch who led the battalion during the Battle of the Bulge.

Greetings

Carl
