Longhorn92 Posted July 17, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2014 The Bastogne War Museum is located at Colline du Mardasson 5 in Bastogne, Belgium. The memorial is essentially at the same location, right next to the museum. Their website is at http://bastognewarmuseum.be/home.html This is an impressive museum that covers not just the Battle of the Bulge, but the history of the war though the eyes of four people--two Belgian civilians and an American and German soldier. It is a modern, first class building with awesome displays which include artifacts and displays from many ETO battles. Here are a few pics of the museum and memorial. First are a few displays:

Longhorn92 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted July 17, 2014 Mardasson Memorial. Very big with towering columns that tell the story of the Battle of the Bulge and list the units involved. A spiral staircase leads to the top where you have a commanding view of the countryside and can read more informative plaques.
Longhorn92 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted July 17, 2014 At the top of the memorial. Bastogne is to the left and Foy to the right, or generally north. That's the museum down to the right.
