I am beginning an effort to gather information about the equipment worn during the Indian Wars. If any collectors have any information they would like to share or recommend any of their favorite books on the subject, I would be very grateful. Books I would recommend to anyone interested in this period which I see you already have in your article.As a side note,these books are generally on sale for half price or less direct from the U of OK Press at Christmas.
