Allan H. Posted July 15, 2014 Share #2 Posted July 15, 2014 I would agree with Korean War, 1950's era since it is executed on HBT material. There are a few WWII embroidered on cloth jump wings, but the details are a bit different, so I would be hesitant to suggest that it could be WWII. I also believe this to be a US made example and the distinctive pronounced risers (extra long) is a type seen in later manufactured examples. Tonomachi Posted July 15, 2014 Share #3 Posted July 15, 2014 I was told a long time ago that the elongated downward risers were a characteristic of German made US paratrooper insignia.
Teamski Posted July 15, 2014 Share #4 Posted July 15, 2014 I think it is most likely late 1950's to early 1960's era. -Ski
