"Mitchell's Indentification Booklet U.S. Armed Forces" reads the title of this 1943 ephemera of the Second World War home front. These booklets have the name of the business printed on after the initial printing to show their own company's names, so don't be at all surprised to find these with all sorts of names on the front cover. These pages also were added to some encylopaedias of the time also, even free of copyright even back then. There almost 30 pages in this well done even for it's time publication. They showed shoulder sleeve insignia of the United States Army and the U.S. Marine Corps, the rank and branch insignia of all of the U.S. Armed Forces, their medals too! Of course there is a portrait of then United States President Franklin Delano Roosevelt gracing the second page. Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California ([email protected]) Be sure to email me if you'd like to receive free scans like these daily! Thank you!
