Panther hitching a tow on a Dragon Wagon, July '44. What an impressive subject for a modelling project!

Hello Sabrejet,

I'm pretty sure I've already seen a model inspired by this photo ... perhaps here on USMF ;)

Yeah? It certainly lends itself as 1:35 kits of both types are available. Maybe Lars / Proud Kraut can revive it?

A captured Stug clearly marked with the allies' white star. This vehicle appears to have a layer of concrete "armour" over its frontal arc.

Looks like Timberwolf soldiers (104ID) are using that Stug.

I'm not sure, but I think the soldiers in the Kettenkrad were of the 5ID.

Thanks Erwin. Here's a nice sepia shot of GIs in a well-marked captured VW Kubelwagen.

Squad leader

A Jagdpanzer IV/70 (A) captured near Rudlin, France, 1944.

Nowdays, this tank can be seen in the Saumur museum (France).

This is a famous colour image from LIFE magazine. A captured VW Schwimmwagen in USAAF service.

And another...looking rather like a small toy car with all those GIs on board!

M24 Chaffee

Cool! I've not seen most of these pictures. Damn those tanks were massive and frightening!

Here's a Soviet 122mm field gun captured and used by the Germans...and then subsequently captured by the US Army.

Even trams were fair game! The GIs are unloading 88mm shells and Panzerfausts.

This is a great colour shot of some GIs examining a KO'd 75mm 38t Marder. Interesting helmet markings?
