Two Meyer Pilots

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Wanted to post a new Meyer wing so I took some quick photos and place it with another recent wing I picked up to compare and contrast the two patterns.

Enjoy

John

Nice wings! According to the maker mark on the bottom wing, it was produced between 1943-roughly 1946. When do you think the top wings were produced? There is a definite difference between the two.

The top wings are an early pattern but I am not sure of the actual date. I ran it by a friend and he says this pattern was made prior to WW2 up until about the mid war period. The bottom pair is as you say late 42\43.

Cheers

John

John,

Can you tell how wide the pin of the bottom wings can open? Thanks, Lonny
