I'm thinking this is the right spot for this.

I posted a group shot of my vacation findings in the Recent Finds, now sorting it all out.

I found a nice antique store with a lot of military stuff. The issue was that it was ALL overpriced, except this. These garment bags were hiding under the table and I saw the USMC on the one. I about choked when I saw the price as it was more than a fair price. So I snatched them up.

The member these belonged to was one of 5 enlisted personal on "Fat Albert." He was part of the Blue Angels in the 80's. One of the bags has "FA" on it, I'm guessing for "Fat Albert," and the other "USMC." Both have the Blue Angels patch, one with the 40th Anniversary patch of the Blue Angels with his personal patches.

Anyways, here are the pics.

Very Cool. As a kid I used to watch the Blue Angels fly at the Academy every June. I remember when they were still flying Phantoms ! Big, fast and LOUD.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys. I miss seeing them, but have plans to be at the Air Show next month! Last time I saw them was some time in the 90's.
