BelligerentBlue Posted July 6, 2014 #1 Posted July 6, 2014 I posted a group shot of everything I picked up on vacation in the latest finds. But now posting some of it individually in the appropriate sections. So while on vacation, I heard from an antique store owner about a USMC grouping belonging to a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran. While driving there I spotted this sign in another stores window. After checking out the grouping which was some paperwork, a more modern uniform, and a few more modern medals, I decided they wanted way too much and had to walk away. On the drive back I stopped to check out this sign. The lady didn't want to sell it, because of the "2-2-2" significance to her but ended up putting out a price after she found out I was a veteran and collect. I hit her with an offer and we agreed on a price I was more than comfortable with. She was a really nice lady and took a picture of the sign for her to keep, while I got the real thing. The sign measures 3'x5'. The sign came off Camp Lejeune. CLR-2 is Combat Logistics Regiment- 2 based out of Camp Lejeune, NC. A subordinate unit of theirs helped support my unit on my second deployment to Iraq.
