I think this patch is navy the two swan like planes.

Most of the navy patches use water fowl to represent the aircraft.that I have seen but there are some exceptions.

The Air force uses more predator birds but that is my observation.

Not sure if the planes are shaped to resemble numbers? If so could it be 602 902? Note at the tope of the patch is a star. The north star?

That sounds great but If I not mistaken I have had this patch before 2002 but I could be mistaken.

I looks like the patch is older than 2002. It could be Class 1969-02 Undergraduate Pilot Training. just need to figure out what base. the aircraft looks like T-37 Tweets.

usually the last two digits are the "Year" , at least that is my understanding of the way they're set up ...............................

The two aircraft makes the year 69, 02 is the class. The patch looks like a 1960's style and make patch.

I don't think so seeing as it has 02 02 on it , if it was 1969 it should have 02 69 on it , but I could be wrong ......................

The twill back patches are still being made even recently ..............
