Unknown Shovel and Cover?

It looks for WWII German folding shovel using by SS nad WH in late part of WWII, lots of these shovels were using by Danish army post WWII, this cover is Danish post WWII made

Yes they usualy goes for nice money :) they are rarer that typical non-folding shovels introduced just pre WWII but both types were using by Dutch army

Its a Dutch Shovel Cover the MVO stamp mean "Ministerie van Oorlog" (War Deopartment) worth just a few bucks

I think the shovel is Dutch post-WW2 production too, these are almost identical to the German M38 folding shovels, and often used by re-enactors. If the blade folds flat against the handle it is a Dutch one, if the blade remains at an angle from the handle when folded it's a German one.

As earlymb said above, both items are Dutch post-WWII. Worth what you can get for it as surplus or as a stand-in shovel to a WWII German re-enactor.
