earlymb Posted July 3, 2014 Share #8 Posted July 3, 2014 I think the shovel is Dutch post-WW2 production too, these are almost identical to the German M38 folding shovels, and often used by re-enactors. If the blade folds flat against the handle it is a Dutch one, if the blade remains at an angle from the handle when folded it's a German one.
