doyler Posted May 1, 2013 Share #213 Posted May 1, 2013 What are those Foreign cloth Jumps wings? Brazilian? 2009_08140037.JPG 84d6_12.jpg K The wings are Cambodian.Kinda based on a set of French Wings. You will see Cambodian Wings,Loation and Thai worn during the VN era by SF men.More commonly the Vietnamese wings are seen but SF me attached to different training or advisory teams often earned the wings from that country

PATCHRAT Posted June 12, 2013 Share #215 Posted June 12, 2013 I have not seen this patch mentioned or posted, but State Guard patches are a bit of a niche. Still in my opinion a tough patch to find. (for me) Massachusetts State Guard Flying Column SEP 43 - SEP 45 The Flying Column, Massachusetts State Guard. Since the entire National Guard was in Federal service during World War II, the Adjutant General decided that he needed a quick reaction force that consisted of a fulltime platoon of State Guardsmen which was organized in September 1943. The mission of the flying column was to assist local police during strikes, riots, natural disasters and to repel enemy submarine landings. The unit was stationed at the old Cambridge Armory where the State Guardsmen were required to live and train. The Flying Column was disbanded in September 1945. http://states.ng.mil/sites/MA/News/Pages/Fulltime%20Units%20in%20the%20Massachusetts%20National%20Guard.aspx
