I can't seem to identify this DUI. It appears to be Saint George or a king or crusader mounted on a horse. The back is marked G-23 MADE IN USA

It's the 138th Inf. Regt. I think a Army Reserve unit out of St. Louis area, know they had some great pocket patches.

This distinctive insignia was approved for the 138th Infantry Regiment in May 1926. It was redesignated for the 1138th Engineer Battalion in May 1989. The blue background symbolized the original infantry origins of the DI while the figure is a representation of the equestrian statue of Louis IX (St. Louis). This information comes from TIOH. :)
