mvmhm Posted June 11, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 11, 2014 Last month John Hazelton stopped in and during the course of our conversation he mentioned he'd donated some uniforms to another military museum about 20 minutes from here. I jokingly said something about next time he should bring his stuff here. He made a surprise stop today and brought in a set of medical whites (the old style, nicknamed a "Ben Casey" uniform after the TV show), his dress greens, which will need some restoration unless he can find his ribbons and CMB, and a bunch of pictures and other docos. Here's John and his uniforms: Mark sends

mvmhm Posted June 11, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted June 11, 2014 He requested a reissue of his awards, so his certifcate is dated well after his tours in Vietnam. He served one tour with 4th ID, then went back later with the DIVARTY of 1st Cav. Here's his Air Medal doco:

John said he thinks he has some more "stuff" in his garage, so there might be more coming with this group. Mark sends
