At the recieving end of the Airlift in Berlin at Tempelhof Air Base, there is an identical memorial. The memorial replicates the three tines of a fork, the 3 tines representing the 3 air corridors that flew the life line of supplies into the city of Berlin. One air corridor in each of the Allied sectors, 1 British, 1 French and 1 American Air corridor. In Berlin at the old US movie theater across the street from the former US Headquarters on Clayallee, is a C-47 and a C-54 aircraft in a static display outdoors.
