Montana40 Posted June 10, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2014 I purchased this cover EGA on the forum and even though I have put together a fair collection I still have a tough time telling which might be a reproduction. I continue to follow the forums and hope to educate myself to the point that I am more confident in purchases, especially at some the prices asked. I am definitely looking forward to the new EGA book later this year! In the meantime - hopefully I could get some help on this one. Thanks. teufelhunde.ret Posted June 10, 2014 Share #3 Posted June 10, 2014 The pics are very very small, it appears to be authentic? Can you post something larger than a postage stamp?
Montana40 Posted June 10, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted June 10, 2014 Sorry about that. As you can see I have problems with what size the site will accept.

Brig Posted June 10, 2014 Share #6 Posted June 10, 2014 Looks like an original, highly (maybe recently) polished piece
teufelhunde.ret Posted June 10, 2014 Share #7 Posted June 10, 2014 Your pics have a real soft focus, I simply cannot tell. Here is an issue emblem of the same design for you to compare it with. BTW, the screwpost is correct for the era.
Brig Posted June 10, 2014 Share #8 Posted June 10, 2014 I haven't seen and repro's that I can recall off the top of my head out there with stabilizing pins, either, so another good sign
