Brig Posted June 9, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 9, 2014 Is this a military field organ? It's dated 1904, I'm told. I've been offered it and don't know what to make of it, or what to offer
Chap15 Posted June 10, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 10, 2014 It could be a chaplain organ. The WWII organs were standard Estey pump (reed) organs. There was a military version (M45) that saw minimal use. They had organs during WWI, but there was no contract to my knowledge. I would use this for a WWI display but not for a WWII display. But then for a 70% solutution, this could work for WWII. Hope this helps.
