rustbucket Posted June 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2014 I've been looking for one of these for a long time, and finally found one in very good condition. I've heard from a couple of other people looking for one of these, so when saw it on ebay I was braced for some stiff bidding. I couldn't believe that I got it for under $200. I now have a 1912 artillery dress cap, 1902 tunic, 1902 artillery sword, and red lined 1902 artillery cape. Now I need a mannequin so I can get it out of the closet! sundance Posted June 8, 2014 Share #7 Posted June 8, 2014 That is a beautiful grouping. Are either the 1902 tunic or cape named? Is there anything that distinguishes the sword as artillery or is it the model 1902 "for all officers"?
rustbucket Posted June 8, 2014 Author Share #8 Posted June 8, 2014 The sword has crossed cannons engraved on the blade. None of the items are named.
rustbucket Posted June 8, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted June 8, 2014 But to your question, it is a standard 1902 model, but just was engraved for an artillery officer.
