Aedayola Posted June 3, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 3, 2014 Hey all, So I found a bandolier today. It looks like a WWII bandolier, but I thought the bandoliers from then had six pockets. Did they have seven pocket bandoliers at the time? This one is very light in shade, even lighter than my original haversack. Thanks in advance

RustyCanteen Posted June 4, 2014 Share #3 Posted June 4, 2014 How about a photo? It may well be foreign.

RustyCanteen Posted June 4, 2014 Share #5 Posted June 4, 2014 I'm not certain whose that is, but I am 99% certain it is foreign. FN produced .30-06 used a similar bandoleer in the 1950s.
Linedoggie Posted June 4, 2014 Share #6 Posted June 4, 2014 I have 2 bandoleers just like that filled with F.N. made .30-06 on stripper clips. IIRC the ammo is dated in the 1950's
Aedayola Posted June 5, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted June 5, 2014 So most likely an FN bandolier from the 1950s? Any idea on value, if any exists? I kind of bought it on a whim, but I'm hoping it was worthwhile regardless. Thanks for the input
