Navy officer's visor hat by Pasquale.

Recommended Posts

Dating with exactitude a post 41 Navy officer's visor sometimes proves difficult. Being of cane frame construction with cotton trim on top edge, I assume this is a WW2 era piece of headgear...

Dominique

Looks WW2 to me. Wicker frame is a good sign but it was done post war as well.

The blue top is what will actually date this cap. By the Korean War, the tops where white. This is a WWII era visor.

Blue tops were worn until the 1963 regs which also dropped the flat hat for enlisted. Granted, neither was much worn, but still......
