WWI soft leather flying helmet

I am looking for an American WWI painted, soft tan leather flying helmet that originally belonged to Lt. H. F. Rough, 638 Pursuit Squadron. There is a bullseye painted on top, and a black cat logo on the side with owner information. It was beautifully displayed in the forum back in 2009 by belleauwood:

I'm not sure if he still owns it, as he has not been on linen some time. Does anyone know him or anything about the helmet?
