AB45 Posted June 11, 2014 Author Share #81 Posted June 11, 2014 We visited the last B-bunker between Poland and the West Wall. The bunker was buried in 1994 by the U.S. Army. The dome was destroyed.

sgtpeter Posted August 14, 2014 Share #92 Posted August 14, 2014 Nice photos of an old training area. I never made it there. Spent some time at Campo Pond at Hanau, but mostly the Friedberg (Hessen) training area then Wildflicken, Hohenfels and Graf training areas. I believe the piers were for the engineers to practice building bridges rather than blowing them up. AB45 Posted August 17, 2014 Author Share #95 Posted August 17, 2014 The Heinrich position is opposite the dome bunker. The Heinrich position with their trenches very reminiscent of the positions of the 1.WK in France and Belgium
