Just got these at a yard sale today. Are they US? or What are they? Era of use or any other info appreciated. Richard

These are worn on the cuffs of naval officers' uniforms above the rank stripes. The Supply Corps had this insignia instead of the gold stars worn by line officers above their rank stripes.

They have been almost unchanged for over 100 years. They could date anywhere from the 30s through the 60s.
