Nack Posted May 16, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2014 I picked these up the other day. Is there a website that illustrates all of the WWII-era DUIs? I'm not aware of one. Not sure these all belong together, but that's how I got them. I presume the blue/black/gray ones are German made. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Old Marine Posted May 16, 2014 Share #4 Posted May 16, 2014 The cactus is the 35th Infantry Regiment. The others are the 397th Infantry Regiment. The other badge is some order of the bayonet award specific to the 7th infantry division. Nice finds.
KurtA Posted May 16, 2014 Share #5 Posted May 16, 2014 7th Division Order of The Bayonet. Nice original vintage Japanese-made example.

Nack Posted May 16, 2014 Author Share #10 Posted May 16, 2014 Thanks again! Is the Order of the Bayonet date to the early occupation period, or the KW, or later? It looks pretty old. There were some domed collar disks in the box too, which I associate with late 40s/KW era.
gomorgan Posted May 16, 2014 Share #11 Posted May 16, 2014 I'd say the order of the bayonet badge is KW era, based one my neighbor had who served there 53-54, most of the 60's period you find where in cloth for fatigue wear.
