subsystem4 Posted May 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 6, 2014 I won this on ebay. I can't wait until it arrives. The two Senior Chief hospital corpsman jackets belong to a sailor who served from 1942 until 1955. His first few years were with a battalion aid station with 3rd marine division and he probably saw action on Bougainville. Later in WWII he was on APA-113. In the 1950s he was at a recruiting station in Chicago and then in Virginia. There is a gap in the records I found from 1946-1952 so I am not sure if he saw action in Korea or not. I am not sure where the USMS machinist cap and jacket fit yet, they may belong to another family member. -Jay
