History Man Posted May 4, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2014 This turned up at a local flea market this morning...been having a lot of luck finding war effort posters lately and am really taking a liking to them. This particular poster is designed by Norman Rockwell and was issued in 1943 by The Curtis Publishing Company. It is a pretty good size...about 2 1/2' by 2'. The background behind it is that this came out of a collection that had quite a bit of other war effort posters. Philip

fstop61 Posted May 4, 2014 Share #4 Posted May 4, 2014 These lithographs actually predate the posters produced by the US Government-published by the publisher of the Saturday Evening Post (Curtis Publishing Co.) The smallest set is the most desirable (12"x 16"). Nice find!
