Sully Posted April 29, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 29, 2014 Finally added one to the collection and thought I'd show it off a little.
hink441 Posted April 29, 2014 Share #2 Posted April 29, 2014 I dont think that is a US MK-1 grenade. Looks more like a French F-1 grenade with a Billiant fuse to me. Chris

I got it with a copy of Manual of the Chief of Platoon of Infantry. I guess I should have picked up on the French connection. Thank you for the correction. hink441 Posted April 29, 2014 Share #4 Posted April 29, 2014 No problem. That F-1 is still a very collectible grenade. The F-1 was widely used by the American Doughboy during the Great War. Nice addition to the collection!! Chris

Nice addition to the collection!! Chris Which is why I've been looking for one for my American display. Saw one in a collecting group on Facebook but didn't have the $185 asking price at the time. Sure enough, it was gone that day. Very nice example, by the way!
