Most of them have been statues that fit in with a local theme. A statue of a father teaching his daughter how to ride a bike is located alongside the main bike trail. It is nice to see a sculptor has brought it to a 3 deminsional work from a famous photo. The fellows are right. It looks like you live in a nice town. I wonder how many people actually know the significance of that day when it was announced that Japan had surrendered and this photo was taken?
