I recently found an oddball leather flight helmet that I was told came back with a ww2 soldier, it is very well made looks ww2 era and has a military style ink stamp on the inside with only one word still readable INDIA. Tex Hill of the Flying Tigers. 23rd FG had one that shows up in a book on flight helmets. I'd be curious to see a photo of the helmet in question.
