Posted Imagethe back shows the pattern in its full glory.

It's suits like this that ease the bar in tiger collecting.

Somewhere out there a 2 piece suit may live or a nice blazer jacket !!!

My dear Owen,

less than two hours ago I mentioned that funny aneddoct in topic about the other tiger-striped suit. Do you remember what stated that Dutch collector in replying to me? :D Well I could now bargain my current sweetheart for your tiger suit... at the moment, she isn't 100% Milla Iovovich :D :D

ps. strip carrying the zippers could come from a typical khaki Navy Flight Suit of mid- '60s? I do have such a suit on my Navy mannequinn in Vietnam, they look identical.

Thank you Guy's :)

Owen, what do you think about it? Is it just a production anomaly, a kind of fading or something else ??

Mike ,

Its NOT fading at all.

Its a new print that has slipped under everyones radar I believe!

Thats a killer shirt.

Under the collar is plain or zig zag ?

F ,

They could well be from the NAVY lightweight suit that makes perfect sense .

Lets see some girl shots …...

I have many flight suits so we can do a 2 for 1 swop ?

What is the export laws in human shipping in a fed Ex box from Italy ?

Thank you Owen, I personally don't belief fading too...

The stiching unter the collar its "zig zag" like all the other classic garments we know.

Regards,

Mike

Thanks Owen for confirming my thoughts about those khaki strips for the zippers.

As for your proposal, I must think a bit more... would you swap 4 different tigerstriped suits for Silvia? The following is a portrait of her made by me some years ago (isn't a joke), airbrushed on metal sheet about 13" x 22".

As you can see, she still isn't 100% Milla Iovovich. Just the needed time to learn some more about the shipping from Italy, and customs' laws... :)

Truly sincere compliments again for such a collection!! A bit jealous in effects.. Franco.

Franco ...

Its good to know you are as insane as me.

Mike ….

Any stamps ?

Labels ?

The buttons are green right ?

Its a RARE shirt and something I have never even handled ever.

I don't think it is a custom piece …….due to the VVVVV…..so that leads me to believe it was part of a larger run of garments...

in other words Issue !

Thanks for showing us this important shirt.

Owen and Mike F.,

What a pair of unique tigers. Owen, that flightsuit is super cool. I really like the colors in that one. MF, what a great tiger shirt !! Having the same pattern as the flightsuit is way cool. The good thing is, if it is a production shirt , then there are more out there. The hunt begins !!

Thank you guys and thank you Owen for showing this beauty!

I 100% agree with Mitch, this flight suit a stunning piece of tiger stripes!!

Regarding to my shirt I'am 100% sure that's an issue piece, It dosen't have any remains of stamps or labels but the buttons and the construction are exactly the same like on other early garments....

So there could be more out there??

Regards,

Mike
