knd643 Posted April 19, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 19, 2014 There's a topic on the forum for members to post their UNIS gear marked to the 1st Marine division. In this thread post all of your UNIS marked gear to any division(1 Marine Division,2 Marine Division,3 Marine Division...etc). Wasn't really sure were to post this topic because there are UNIS marked uniforms as well like P41's but P41's belong to the uniform section. So im hoping the moderators will allow members to post their UNIS marked uniforms(P41's, P42's, P44's...etc) as well in this thread. If not, oh well. Here's mine. Canteen cover and shovel cover marked to the 4th Marine Division.

'Flage Guy Posted April 19, 2014 Share #5 Posted April 19, 2014 Knd, that's pretty neat that both of those pieces are stenciled to the same Unit; did you buy those as a group? Coat, Utility, Herringbone Twill. This Coat belonged to Cpl. William H. Barnett, 26th Marines, 5th Marine Division on Iwo Jima...

MCDUFF Posted April 22, 2014 Share #16 Posted April 22, 2014 I always admire Flage guys items! Any excuse for them to be aired! Here is a nicely marked M41 jacket; unfortunately not named. I believe it to be a Lieutenant of the 4th Marines, 24th Infantry, 2nd Bn, E Co.

etienne Posted April 23, 2014 Share #22 Posted April 23, 2014 hello one other M41 jacket from Pvt Joseph V BUCKLEY Sr 23rd Marines - 4th Marines Division , KIA Iwo Jima march 10 1945... olivier Well, Olivier, it's a very interesting jacket ... the number is very unusual with only 2 digits rather than 3 Perhaps was he assigned too late, as a replacement, and had no time to complete the UNIS number before going to Iwo Jima.
