Hi,

 

For years now I have this WW2 Captured German Field & Vehicle Identification Flag that I bought in Gettysburg...

 

I never did a search on the soldiers, but I'm very curious to find out what unit they were.

 

Please, could someone help me?

I'm trying, but just found one record without reference to unit veteran. I guess I'm not getting read right signatures and exchanging a few letters and this is hampering the search.

Name & Rank: The Late Duke C.Walker Description: WW II veteran in Battle of the Bulge, Normandy,France and central Europe. He was an Ammunition handler and his duties distribution and storage of ammunition among various units.

Carl Behrakis is listed on the WWII Memorial, but all they put was "Font Line service"...BUT, it was posted by the Beharkis Foundation....maybe you can contact them?
