Has anyone visited the 36th ID landing zones on Paestum beach during the invasion of Salerno?

My husband and I visited the beachhead close to what would have been the Red Beach. We found it by asking locals. There is supposed to be a museum in the town of Salerno but I was never able to arouse an answer from them either by e-mail or by phone before leaving the U..S. I could not find any markers. Interestingly, another famiy from the US was visiting at the same time. We were there in 2015. My father was part of the group that landed at Red Beach.
