Skip Pickett Posted March 19, 2014 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2014 Hey everyone: I'm not a Civil War buff but picked up what I think is a Ketchum Grenade (according to a pal of mine). A picker type fellow I buy from every now and then turned it up and I felt obligated to buy it. Is that what it is? At first I thought it was a "weight" of some type, but then why the number on top? Must have been catalogued at some point? If this is what it is, are they "common" or not so much? Thanks, Skip

4th Miss Cav Posted March 27, 2014 Share #5 Posted March 27, 2014 Quite a few have been found in my area, Port Hudson, LA. They attacked a Confederate position called the Priest Cap with them. I know they came in two possibly three different sizes. They definitely are not common, but they are not rare either. They fall in somewhere in the middle. Still quite a nice piece
