WAHOOMAN Posted March 13, 2014 #1 Posted March 13, 2014 Hello All. Can anyone please identify this armband. Is it military? It was found in a footlocker. The footlocker belonged to a former Vietnam SF veteran. Thanks.
vintageproductions Posted March 13, 2014 #5 Posted March 13, 2014 Yes and it is very rare. It was worn by the "Big Four Powers" in Vietnam. This was part of the JCRC program. The big four were two Communists countries and two Western Countries, and were in charge of locating KIA sites, POW's, etc. I think there is a listing someplace on the internet that breaks down the whole mission.

WAHOOMAN Posted March 13, 2014 Author #7 Posted March 13, 2014 I am currently going through a massive Special Forces grouping. I will post the story and pics once I organize the items. Thanks.
USCapturephotos Posted March 14, 2014 #9 Posted March 14, 2014 Wow. The history of the armband is really interesting. I learn a lot on this forum. Thanks! Paul
