A Naval Air Intelligence Reserve Unit 662 patch

Happy Friday all,

These pieces are'nt seen very often so when I saw a few of these come up for sale I bid on them,and won this one.I have tried to do some online research and found nothing of substance.

Any info on these obscure INTEL units would be much appreciated.

This is a large,thick,very well made patch.

Probably 1950's,1960's and an "Reserve" unit with the higher numbering it has ............................

Try Doug Siegfried out of the Tailhook association in Calif, he's their historian and should have info on it , they have an online site

This one and another appeared in the what it's worth section about a month ago.

These are Reserve Intel units as already identified if you Google NAIRU USN you will find a plethora of info on them.
