I thought it would be interesting to show some side by side comparison shots of actual historical military figures and the actors who have portrayed them on film. Sometimes the resemblance is uncanny while in other cases it is, shall we say, a stretch.

 

Obviously let's see some of the more obvious choices such as Ike and Patton, but let's also see some more obscure examples. In that vein, first up is Navy diver Master Chief Boatswain's Mater Carl Brashear who was portrayed by Cuba Gooding, Jr. in the 2000 film "Men Of Honor".

Apart from certain uniform differances, helmet straps, chute harness etc, I always thought Maxwell looks like Maxwell, get it Maxwell looks like Maxwell :lol:
